The USDA Regional Food Business Centers offer Business Builder grants within their assigned regions to scale up regional food systems.
These grants are commonly up to $100,000 with no match requirement and can be used on things like specialized equipment related to processing, aggregation, and distribution.

This webinar, led by Stephen Ussery of Stewards Unlimited, will take livestock producers through the process of:
- evaluating the business builder funding opportunity from the USDA Regional Food Business Centers
- designing a relevant project
- compiling an accurate budget
- communicating how their idea matches the goals of the funding program.

-Potential uses of Business Builder funding for ranches
-Timeline for submission and awards
-Free resources to help plan and apply

As a part of this process, we will brainstorm uses of the Business Builder Grant funding together and participants will leave with a strong idea of how to move forward with an application.
There will be ample time at the end of the webinar to discuss your specific ideas and get feedback on what would be eligible and competitive to these programs.
